Total receipts at Alabama mills, which included roundwood harvested and retained in the State as well as roundwood imported from other States, increased 4 percent to 1.18 billion cubic feet. The number of primary roundwood-using plants in Alabama totaled 145 in 2005, a loss of 33 mills since 2003.
